TaxBlogs.so.uk has now swapped to WordPress for our future blogging and is starting afresh as some of the previous posts were becoming a bit dated.

My name is John Cotter and TaxBlogs.co.uk is my blog about UK tax and particularly the tax related website ventures I have either founded or am involved with as well as a bit of running commentry on my experiences as a practicing chartered tax adviser (for around 20 years now!)

I am a practicing uk Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA – member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation in the UK) and also a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT). However due to my interest in the internet (I publish a number of websites on varying topics not tax or accountancy related) I decided to found Tax Publications Limited to specialise in publishing tax, accountancy and business related websites.

This blog is my personal tax blog however I plan to use it to update people about the progress of some of these tax related websites in various stages of development.

The goal is to create a dynamic proactive community of UK tax professionals and to help those tax and accountancy professionals promote their businesses, knowledge and experience via the internet.
